The message of restoration and peace is what we share every day with all who come to the Star of Hope Mission. It’s our goal that once they have overcome their immediate crisis situation, they will choose to stay with us, long enough to receive the help they need to achieve independent living once again. At our Men’s Development Center we offer various programs that assist homeless men on their journey to recovery and a promising future.
Your support provides Houston’s homeless men with hope for a new life and a future, and an opportunity to touch the lives of others. Someone like Alvin. At the Star of Hope annual Banquet, we had the pleasure of hearing Alvin share a heartfelt testimony of how Star of Hope Mission helped put his life back together Piece by Peace.
“Yes, I was broken. But I was Blessed enough to be led to an organization that turned my pieces into a PEACE within my soul,” Alvin said. II Peter 1: 5-7 helps build the hearts of men who are broken and lost and taught Alvin how to build his character. Because of wonderful supporters like you, Alvin found peace in Christ and became the hardworking man, husband, and church deacon he is today!
