Summer may almost be over, but children at Star of Hope are still celebrating! Before the school year begins, children can enjoy their time off and get more time for fun. Next week our Star of Hope children will be heading to camp, where they will spend time fishing, swimming, ziplining and participating in activities that will share the truth of the Gospel and teach the children about Jesus Christ.
At Star of Hope, summer camp is an exciting opportunity for our children to grow and develop closer relationships. For some of them, it will be their first time camping. They will learn various team-building skills and experience new things, but most importantly, they grow in their faith! Every child must know they are valued and created in God’s image. Being outdoors and experiencing His work is a good place to learn this, and because of your generosity, Star of Hope children will have that opportunity.
Life can be challenging, especially for a child who lives in a shelter. Summer camp is an opportunity for our children to escape the stress of homelessness and witness the beauty of God’s creation. Thanks to the support of a generous friend, these children can enjoy the last days of summer break and return with incredible memories to last a lifetime!
