Earlier this month, we were able to bless mothers at Star of Hope through a Mom’s Matter celebration put together by Trees of Hope! It was a wonderful time of fellowship as the women could gather with one another and share their own unique stories of motherhood.
The event was an incredible success. Trees of Hope treated Star of Hope moms at the Women and Family Development Center to a light breakfast courtesy of H-E-B Central Market, Chick-fil-A and Craftex. Residents were also treated to door prizes and goodie gift bags featuring beautiful art made by Trees of Hope Board Members Kirsten Colander and Carissa Barcus.
I pray that these women will continue to feel supported and recognized as they work towards a better future for themselves and their families. Thank you for your continued support of Star of Hope, and I pray you had a wonderful Mother’s Day!
